DAVID R. BLACK David R. Black began practicing law in 1976 and came to Delaware County in 1979. His areas of concentration are personal injury, consumer bankruptcy, estate planning, decedent's estates and real estate. David Black has been a guest speaker for many organizations. He is a member of American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Delaware County Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Assoc., Pa. Trial Lawyers Assoc; Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, National Head Injury Foundation, Brain Injury Association, National Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Association and the Estate Planning Council. He was educated at Temple University and received his law degree from Villanova University School of Law.
DOMENIC D. JEROME Retired Judge Domenic D. Jerome was a trial Judge for the Court of Common Pleas, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, for over twenty-one years. He served as Administrative Judge, Criminal Division, and as the Administrative Judge, Civil Division during his service as a Judge. When he retired in 1992, he was the Judge in charge of all Delaware County asbestos cases. Prior to his service as a Judge he was a practicing attorney devoting his time to Civil and Criminal cases, domestic relation trials, land use matters and municipal law. Additionally, Domenic D. Jerome served as an Assistant District Attorney for the County of Delaware. After his retirement from the bench he joined the firm of Black & Associates, P.C., as Counsel to the Firm and he is now available for all legal matters.
BILL W. BODAGER Bill W. Bodager, graduate of the United States Naval Academy, received his law degree from the University of San Francisco and matriculated at Villanova Law School to obtain an LLM (Master of Law degree in taxation). He has been practicing law in Pennsylvania since 1979 and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as the Delaware County Bar Association. His areas of concentration are tax law, small business, estate and trusts, and real estate.
ROBERT F. STRANICK Robert F. Stranick graduated from Villanova University in 1986 with degrees in Business Administration and Economics. Thereafter he received his law degree from the Villanova University School of Law in 1989. Mr. Stranick served as the law clerk to the Honorable James R. Cavanaugh, Superior Court of Pennsylvania Judge. After concluding his judicial clerkship, Mr. Stranick entered private practice concentrating in areas of personal injury, workers compensation and commercial litigation. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Delaware County Bar Association. Mr. Stranick has served as lead trial counsel in cases tried before the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County, Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County, Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
SCOTT F. WATERMAN Scott F. Waterman graduated from Tufts University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History and received his law degree from Temple University School of Law in 1994. His areas of concentration are commercial litigation, debt collection and consumer rights. Mr. Waterman is a member of the American Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association. He has tried cases before the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County, Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County, Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
DENNIS J. GRUENKE Dennis J. Gruenke graduated from Villanova University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. He studied law at the University of Maryland where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1990. Mr. Gruenke's areas of concentration include personal injury, social security and worker's compensation. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Lehigh County Bar Association, Delaware County Bar Association and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Gruenke has appeared before the various courts of common pleas, including, Monroe, Northampton, Lehigh, Bucks, Philadelphia, Montgomery and Delaware. He has also practiced in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In addition to being licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvaia, Mr. Gruenke is also licensed in the State of Maryland.
JOHN T. NEWSOME, III Jack Newsome graduated from Thomas
Jefferson University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical
Therapy and received his law degree and a Master of Business Administration
from Widener University in 1995. Prior to joining Black & Associates
Mr. Newsome counseled private and public businesses ranging from start-ups
to multi-million dollar corporations. His areas of concentration include
health law, small business, corporate, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Newsome is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the New
Jersey Bar Association, the Delaware County bar Association and the
American College of Healthcare Executives.
